About the Owner

Ms Beatrix Royda ist he holder of 4 South African Latin Professional Champion including one Show Dance title. 

Miss Royda and her partner reached the top 54 in the World.

2013 she defended her South African title in the WDC World Championship in the United States of America, Irvine, Orange County, sucessful into the top 53 and reached the Semifinale in the Showdance Championship in Tampa Bay, Florida.

In her Amatuer Carrier shewas 38 times amongst the first 3.

2000 she was the Austrian Champion and  Fize Champion 

At the age of 8 years she began her career as a tennis player and has participated in numerous Austrian Kids and Youth Championships. Besides that she won several medals in marathon cross-country skiing and running competition.

With 14 years she recognized her interest for the dance, she visited ballet, -and tapdance- lessons, took part in regional Cabaretshows and discoverd finally her incomparable passion for Latin& Ballroomdancing .

Even though she only started to compete with 20 years her wide range of practical education helped her to a quick national success in Latin and later on especially in ballroom. Out of 60 ballroom competitions she was 35 times under the first three.

In order to develope the body to its highest possible performance, she began to accumulate knowledge in Anatomics, Physiology and Biomechanics of the human body. Despite her dedication to the dancesport she started to study in the City of Mozart, Salzburg. 2002 she gradueted with honors and received her international University Diplomadegree in Sportsience, Psychology, Pädagogics and Philosophy. Titel of her 144 pages thesis is as followes:

„Kinder und Jugendliche im Turniertanzsport - Leistungsbestimmende psychische und pädagogische Aspekte mit physischem Hintergrund“

Translation:

„Children and Youth in Latin& Ballroom - Performance-determining psychological and pedagogical aspects with physical background“

After completion of her studies, she continued her 10- dance carrier in Germany in the costody of worldknown coaches.

2004 she stopped her active carrier and fully dedicated her life to support children and adults to estabilsh a base to learn how to dance. By using her acumulate competences out of 320 books, but also through longterm education about how the body functions, combined with knowledge about Latin& Ballroom dancing she taught in 5 schools and the Keppleruniversity in Linz 1500 children and about 1300 adults how to dance.

Her greates pride is the establishment of the very successful and first Children- and Youthformation in Rohrbach/Oberoesterreich. The kids train two times per week to demonstrate their dancingskills on several public events.

Her neverending passion for the dance and the opportunity to start a second carrier with Ryno van den Berg, a highly successful and worldwide respected competitior lead her back to the dancesport.

2011 Ryno van den Berg and Beatrix Royda started their successful carrer. As the Reinging South African Champions they represented South Africa 2012 in the Worldchampionship in Austria and 2013 in California and Florida.
